The Royal Palace Bangkok

This is a must visit place if you are in Bangkok. We took a free cab ride here as we promised him to visit two shops en route to the palace. This is a common practice as they get paid to bring tourists to such outlets. It even helped him as we spent money at the first stop which is a tailor and ordered custom made clothes.

Upon arrival at the royal palace, I was mesmerize by its beauty. Let me quickly digress, you must be appropriately dress to visit this place which means no revealing clothings, no sleeveless and etc. Upon getting the tickets, we were given a small leaflet with a map of the place which details what each buildings were. I only remember the Emerald Buddha. Here are a few random pics that I have snapped around.

Upon exiting the Royal Palace, we wanted to visit the Reclining Buddha (Wat Po) but I thought we have grab a good deal when a Tuk Tuk driver offered us a deal we could not refuse. Eventually, we were took for a 1 hour ride when promised to visit 3 surrounding temples which I managed to have a picture taken at the first one before deciding to abandon him halfway.

I must be a record holder of the most vulnerable tourist or my details are kept in a database maintained by all scammers.

Well, at the end of the day, this are life enriching experiences that I do not regret.

We continued on shopping at Pratunam and ending our day at MBK.

That's all for now.

That's all for now.
