Shopping in Bangkok

We finally split up from the tour group just before lunch time and headed back to the city center from the airport. After shower, we started our walk to MBK (a shopping center in Bangkok) in our cheap flip flops we bought in Pattaya for the beach. The heat made me drenched in sweat as a result of always being pampered with driving everywhere.

There is a new fancy international food court on the top floor serving Indian, Chinese & Greek to name a few. I decided to go for a Thai cuisine since I am already in Thailand.

We continued on the day making a loop of the shopping district back to the hotel. Along the way, I almost falled for the Lucky Buddha tourist scam. Thanks to Song Yia who stopped it from happening as she researched it before our trip. Just be extra careful in Bangkok and do a quick searh using the keyword Bangkok Tourist Scam and you will find hours of interesting read.

For dinner, we decided to settle for Pizza which is just next door to the hotel.

A Simple Pizza Meal

We called it a day straight after dinner as our feet were really sore from the amount of walking.

That's all for the moment!
