My Mum had made prior arrangements to ensure that all hers kids commit to a day trip back to Batu Pahat, Johor. (My Mum's hometown).
My sisters and me took turn on the wheels along the smooth sailing highway. It has been months since I last visited my only surviving grand parent, my Grandma. My other cousins was busy out and the only one at home was the youngest of all, Steven which is meant to have his UPSR examinations on Monday with 7 subjects. (Luckily, I only had 4 subjects). To take of the stress of him, we took him out for the day.
It has almost become a tradition to drop by a temple in Minyak Beku. My insticts tell me that this is a temple that worships the god that protects the sea as there were statue resembling marine creatures and was facing the sea. Well, the main attraction of the temple was huge fishes in shallow ponds. I can't remember the exact name of the species but people are attempting to touch the fish apparently for good luck. Well, see the video for yourself from my previous trip there because I jumped into the bandwagon as well. ; )
Well, that's it from now. Till my next post, C'ya!
