This is just an advance notice that I would not be posting regular updates in the following weeks because I would be tied up with moving to KL and other matters.
It will take me a while before I can setup an internet connection at my new place but I hope that I can occasionally pop into internet cafes for a quick post and to check my e-mail.
As promise to let you know, my tattoo is 99% healed and my bank matters were sorted out. Besides that, my google earnings increased just by following simple steps from the video tutorials as mentioned from an earlier post.
On a separate manner, I tried topping up my O2 Pay As You Go phone but failed to do so as every time my card was declined. The system just does not understand Malaysian Address. Well, it will be a waste to see my UK mobile number changed as I am very attached to it.
A note for celebration is that I received the most visitors this month thanks to a few hot topics that I have posted and web promotions that were carried out.
That’s all for the moment and until next time, take care of yourself.

I am fairly a new user of Skype although I am aware of its existence for quite a while now. The reason that I did not install Skype earlier was simply because I was experimenting with other applications and mostly use my own cheap international call solution available at http://www.tele88.co.uk. However, most tele88.co.uk services are available within the UK and used from a landline or mobile.
Download and registration of Skype is FREE. Besides providing free internal Skype calls among users, you may call regular landline numbers and use your Skype application like a regular phone with its range of paid services at affordable prices. Do note that there is a current promotion for free calls to landlines in USA and Canada.
Below is a screenshot of the Program running on windows.
To enjoy Skype, you would need a reasonably good headset with microphone that should be available in any good computer accessories store.

Things did not go on smoothly when I received an e-mail stating that my printed statement was not accepted. I gave the bank a call yesterday at about 3.40 p.m. when I read the e-mail which was already too late for me to personally rush into the branch. The person on the phone suggested that I come in the next day.
Today in the bank, I was told to hand write a letter because they have run out of that particular form. My patience was running out because I had called the day before and an officer had told me to come in today with me assuming everything would be fine.
The officer on duty said that everything will turn out fine with just the letter and I would most probably collect it on Monday after filling the pre dated form. All I did was just got her name and contact number so that I can hold her accountable should I fail to receive a letter.
To get that letter from the bank would cost me RM20 which I believe is overcharging its customers and without ethics. We are giving you the privilege to have us as a customer and you are taking advantage of us. Likewise, the bank can state the same in their case.
Other charges which I believe is unnecessary are for closing your bank account and setting up a standing order for internal bank payments of transfers. I can understand charges on late payments or late service of existing loans or credit cards but still do not believe in charging good behaving customers.
Lessons learned: If I were to stand firm with my decision to get the letter done on the day I opened the account, I would not have made additional trips to the bank and would have gotten things sorted out with my employer. I should not have listened to the officer as my employer has clearly stated in my employment letter that they needed a letter from my bank stating all my details.
Have you received a bad service from your bank? What was the worse? I want to hear from you.

This play will be in KL at Panggung Bandaraya, Sultan Abdul Samad Building on June 2nd and 3rd at 8.30p.m. Admission is free.
The play was about during the Nazi occupation and war times. It tells the tale about 5 French revolution fighters being held and cruelly interrogated to reveal the location of their leader. All of them were in a situation that no matter what they do, they will die in the hands of their enemy.
This play was enjoyable with an amazing performance from the actors and I particularly like the set the most.
That's all for the moment.

You may have also realized the recent craze of new Google adsense related product launches from hundreds of internet marketers. To be honest, most products are overpriced. I am not saying that all products are bad but some are of very poor quality and are mentioning the obvious.
I have stumbled upon Google’s own Tutorial videos which is totally free that you may access here:
The video features three case studies and tips from the webmasters that are making a living from Adsense.
To those who are unaware of the power of Google Adsense, it is basically relevant contextual advertising placed by Google on your site that can generate revenue for your site. Registration is free.
Well, good luck and I hope you increase your earnings.
Have A Nice Day!
P/S: I might even release my own adsense product as well.

Tech Support:Yes, ... how can I help you?
Customer:Well, after much consideration, I've decided to install Love. Can
you guide me through the process?
Tech Support:Yes, I can help you! Are you ready to proceed?
Customer:Well, I'm not very technical, but I think I'm ready. What do I do
Tech Support:The first step is to open your Heart. Have you located your
Customer:Yes, but there are several other programs running now. Is it okay
to install Love while they are running?
Tech Support:What programs are running ?
Customer:Let's see, I have Past Hurt, Low Self-Esteem, Grudge and
Resentment running right now.
Tech Support:No problem, Love will gradually erase Past Hurt from your
current operating system. It may remain in your permanent memory but it
will no longer disrupt other programs. Love will eventually override Low
Self-Esteem with a module of its own called High Self-Esteem. However, you
have to completely turn off Grudge and Resentment. Those programs prevent
Love from being properly installed. Can you turn those off ?
Customer:I don't know how to turn them off. Can you tell me how?

Do this as many times as necessary until Grudge and Resentment have been
Customer:Okay, done! Love has started installing itself. Is that normal?
Tech Support:Yes, but remember that you have only the base program. You
need to begin connecting to other Hearts in order to get the upgrades.
Customer:Oops! I have an error message already. It says, "Error - Program
not run on external components." What should I do?
Tech Support:Don't worry. It means that the Love program is set up to run
on Internal Hearts, but has not yet been run on your Heart. In
non-technical terms, it simply means you have to Love yourself before ! you
can Love others.
Customer:So, what should I do?
Tech Support:Pull down Self-Acceptance; then click on the following files:
Forgive-Self; Realize Your Worth; and Acknowledge your Limitations.
Tech Support: Now, copy them to the "My Heart" directory. The system will
overwrite any conflicting files and begin patching faulty programming.
Also, you need to delete Verbose Self-Criticism from all directories and
empty your Recycle Bin to make sure it is completely gone and never comes
Customer:Got it. Hey! My heart is filling up with new files. Smile is
playing on my monitor and Peace and Contentment are copying themselves all
over My Heart. Is this normal?
Tech Support:Sometimes. For others it takes awhile, but eventually
everything gets it at the proper time. So Love is installed and running.
One more thing before we hang up. Love is Freeware. Be sure to give it and
its various modules to everyone you meet. They will in turn share it with
others and return some cool modules back to you.
Customer:Thank you, God.
Please send this to every one you know. If you delete that is okay, God's

because He told me as I prayed for you.

Corporate Lesson 1:
A man is getting into the shower just as his wife is finishing up her shower, when the doorbell rings. The wife quickly wraps herself in a towel and runs downstairs. When she opens the door, there stands Bob, the next door neighbor. Before she says a word, Bob says, "I'll give you $800 to drop that towel,"
After thinking for a moment, the woman drops her towel and stands naked in front of Bob. After a few seconds, Bob hands her $800 dollars and leaves. The woman wraps back up in the towel and goes back upstairs. When she gets to the bathroom, her husband asks, "Who was that?"
"It was Bob the next door neighbor," she replies.
"Great!" the husband says, "did he say anything about the $800 he

Corporate Lesson 2:
A priest offered a lift to a Nun. She got in and crossed her legs, forcing her gown to reveal a leg. The priest nearly had an accident. After controlling the car, he stealthily slid his hand up her leg. The nun said, "Father, remember Psalm 129?" The priest removed his hand. But, changing gears, he let his hand slide up her leg again. The nun once again said, "Father, remember Psalm 129?" The priest apologized "Sorry sister but the flesh is weak." Arriving at the convent, the nun went on her way. On his arrival at the church, the priest rushed to look up Psalm 129. It said, "Go forth and seek, further up, you will find glory."
Moral of the story: If you are not well informed in your job, you might miss a great opportunity.
Corporate Lesson 3:
A sales rep, an administration clerk, and the manager are walking to lunch when they find an antique oil lamp. They rub it and a Genie comes out.
The Genie says, "I'll give each of you just one wish."
"Me first! Me first!" says the admin. clerk.
"I want to be in the Bahamas, driving a speedboat, without a care in the world." Poof! She's
"Me next! Me next!" says the sales rep.
"I want to be in Hawaii, relaxing on the beach with my personal masseuse, an endless supply of Pine Coladas and the love of my life." Poof! He's gone.
"OK, you're up," the Genie says to the manager.
The manager says, "I want those two back in the office after lunch."
Moral of the story: Always let your boss have the first say.
Corporate Lesson 4:
A crow was sitting on a tree, doing nothing all day. A rabbit asked him, "Can I also sit like you and do nothing all day long?" The crow answered: "Sure, why not." So, the rabbit sat on the ground below the crow, and rested. A fox jumped on the rabbit and ate it.
Moral of the story: To be sitting and doing nothing, you must be sitting very high up.
Corporate Lesson 5:
A turkey was chatting with a bull. "I would love to be able to Get to the top of that tree," sighed the turkey, but I haven't got the energy."
"Well, why don't you nibble on my droppings?" replied the bull.
"They're packed with nutrients."
The turkey pecked at a lump of dung and found that it gave him enough strength to reach the lowest branch of the tree. The next day, after eating some more dung, he reached the second branch.
Finally after a fourth night, there he was proudly perched at the top of the tree. Soon he was spotted by a farmer, who shot the turkey out of the tree.
Moral of the story: Bullshit might get you to the top, but it won't keep you there.
Hope you have enjoyed reading and learning from it as much as I did.

As this was my first tattoo, I was very anxious as I am getting something that will stay with me for life. It will also make me easily identifiable if they were to find my body after a plane crash or accident. The tattoo artist started by tracing the design onto a piece of paper before applying some alcohol and transferring the imprint on to my back. He suggested that it was a good height for my tattoo to be on my lower waist and I just simply agreed. Arguably most people would say that only the ladies get their tattoos there but it is common for surfer dudes to have tattoos on their lower waist back.
I usually wear my jeans low cut just because I feel comfy and at times reveal my butt crack which can be sometimes an unpleasant view. Now, with the tattoo there, hopefully it will distract them and make it something pleasing.
The moment the needle first pierced into my skin, it felt exactly like an injection or an ant bite but when he was carrying on with the outline, it felt like he was slowly slicing my skin apart as he drag the needle. As the design consists of mostly curves, he tried to drag it as smoothly as possible each time which was torturing. Remember, no pain, no gain. The most painful moments was when he was working near my tail bone as I believe it is close to where my central nervous system is. The sides of the waist were painful as well and I was imagining myself going for a liposuction. The stinging feeling while he was working on the outline was not something unbearable. Try to think about something happy and not focusing on the needle movements. It was exactly what I was doing the whole time.
When the outline was done, he promised that the shading would not hurt as much but to me, it was all the same. The shading process is adding the color into the drawn outline. Using the same needle, he would slowly fill up the whole area meant to be shaded. It took a while as it was a large space to cover. The shading process did not require the needle to pierce in as deep as when drawing the outline.
I always assume that it will be very bloody while getting a tattoo and one might even suffer major blood loss but it wasn’t the case. Throughout the entire approximately an hour and half process, I chatted with the tattooist and kept bugging him about the progress. He would kindly give it to me in percentages like 10% left.
I was in joy when the whole gruesome process came to an end and saw the final work on the mirror. All I have to do from that moment on is to wait for it to heal and was warned not to swim or go for sauna. I will most definitely keep you periodically updated with the healing process.
Someone asked me whether I would consider a second tattoo. My answer is when the time is right.
According to my friend, I can’t donate blood for a year which is something I am planning to do as I am O positive, the universal donator. My blood type is rare and most wanted.
That’s all for today as I need to go to bed now after a long day and deserve some rest I guess for my sore sore.. back.
P/S: If you really want a tattoo and can’t take the pain, try an airbrush one or a henna tattoo.

I have big thumbs up for the event as credits have to be given to them for starting promptly and maintaining professionalism. I hate to say this but it is so much better than Malaysian based agencies that organize free previews for Anthony Robbins and other internet seminars which are often led by broken English speaking speakers. Every time I attend such badly organized events which are made to earn money as it is a business, I would not sign up towards the end no matter how amazing the package they were offering may seem. I believe since seminar previews are to create hype and get as much sign ups as possible for an event, they need to take the attendees seriously. Remember that the agencies that organize such previews get a cut or commission from the amount of sign ups. If an agency can place a horrible speaker for the preview with the intention of achieving max returns for their efforts, you should roughly know the characteristics of the company and attitude of the people running the company and what service you can expect from them in the future.
Enough of complaining, lets return to the preview I attended. Although what they were presenting at the event was very basic for most internet marketers, a lot that were present only had basic knowledge of the internet. I am glad that they manage to create awareness for how rewarding the internet can be and motivated hundreds that were present.
I often laugh whenever the price of a seminar is reviewed towards the end because they make it look like you just need to invest close to nothing after the bonuses if you commit yourself at that time. These bonuses are often made of self over priced items that are not available in the market like e-books for internet seminars. So, be careful on signing up and never consider the bonuses as it is just a marketing bait to make the event that is being promoted more saleable.
However, in this preview, they were promoting a whole day seminar that will be held in KL Marriot Hotel for only RM150.00 with a guest and they promise to offer RM250.00 transport subsidy for outstation participations claimable at the end of the seminar. This means that I am actually being paid RM100 just for attending it. So, since I have nothing to lose, I signed up for it. I am not doing it for the RM100 which will be stupid for anyone to do so. I would like to educate myself on what they will be presenting and the catch. They would not be offering anyone a free meal and organizers for nothing plus they are not making money from the RM150.00 charged. I am pretty sure that they will be making the big catch during the seminar and I am curios to know what it is about.
I did a quick search on the internet and all I see was bad reviews about the company. Being me, I would not listen to anyone and rather see it for myself but it does make things more exciting.
That’s all for the moment, I will update you on the seminar which I am attending on May 31st.
Take care and see you soon.

Being familiar with how ebay works, the auction terms and proceedings were roughly the same. However, there were lawyers sitting on one side and bankers on the other side. The moment there was a property successfully auctioned out; officials will escort the winner to sign the necessary paperwork.
The highlight of the event was about the hottest property which was a three storey commercial shop house that has 9 bidders registered with the reserve price of RM405,000. According to the chairperson of the auction, properties that have more than two interested bidders will have a start bid price of the reserve price plus one bid increment. Bid increments were set at RM10,000 based on the property price meaning the effective start price will be RM415,000. It created a stir among the interested bidders as previous bid increments were only RM1,000 and one particular bidder was so unsatisfied, he went on to tear the mini brochure that lists all the property up for bids in front of the whole crowd. Eight of the bidders decided to withdraw their bids and one bidder was left which went on to get the property at the reserve price of RM405,000. She was no doubt the smartest investor and got the property at the lowest possible price. I am pretty sure that majority of the bidders that withdraw earlier reacted by emotion or following others. If either one of them stayed firm and decided to proceed with the bidding, he or she would have the possibility of securing the property at a much lower price as well. The lesson I would say is that to always stay firm and never be influenced by emotions or others.
I also learnt that non-bumiputera individuals may not represent a bumiputera in bidding for a bumiputera property. If you are puzzled, there is dual class citizenship in Malaysia. Bumiputera citizens are considered to be original inhabitants of the country where else non-Bumiputera are the opposite. The government has allocated a number of properties and land that can be purchased only by Bumiputeras. This lesson came out when two non-bumiputera bidders were registered to bid for a Bumiputera property.

Well, look at what I did on my spare time, I created a Pong game.
For those unaware of what the game is about, here is a brief history courtesy of wikipedia:
“PONG is a video game based on ping-pong, released by Atari on November 29, 1972. It is the first video game to win widespread popularity, in both its arcade and home console versions.
Its creators were the first to recognize that technology had evolved sufficiently to make such a game possible. Displaying graphics on a video screen and reacting immediately to user input required more computer power than 1960s consumer products could afford. Even in 1970, the computing power of a modern cell phone would have required a mainframe computer the size of a small apartment.
However, by drawing only two lines for paddles, a line for the net and a square for the ball, Pong was playable as a graphical game on the primitive technology of the early 1970s. It unleashed a torrent of innovation and creativity that represented the first generation of video game development.
The version I created can be played directly from your desktop and the screenshot of the game is below:
Feel free to redistribute the version I created as it is freeware. Don’t worry, I did not put any spy ware on the program and it has been scanned for virus. However, I can’t confirm the compatibility of the game with system configurations but if you have Windows XP, it should work fine.
The file is just a single executable file and no installation is required. It can be stored nicely in your thumb drive as it is just a mere 433KB.
Click here to download it now for Free. Please remember to send me your feedback.

Your Passport to London that gives you FREE entry to over 50 Favourite Attractions as well as option for travel on public transport on buses, tubes and trains. The London Pass offers not only great value and convenience, but also enables you to beat the queues at selected attractions.
When I was visiting tourist spots in London as a student, people tend to ask me how I could afford it because all the entry prices were so expensive and even student rates could not help us unfortunate skint students. Mind you, I was not spending my parent’s money.
Although I spent most of my free time in Tate Modern, British Museum, Imperial War Museum and The National Gallery because they were free, no experience in London can be complete without visiting key places such as St Paul’s Cathedral (£9.00), Tower Bridge Exhibition (£5.50), London Aquarium (£11.75) and Shakespeare’s Globe (£9.00).
If I would personally just go to three of this places and buying tickets for them separately, it would have cost me a whooping £35.25. I would enjoy a savings of £6.25 if I visited these three areas with a one day London Pass and £7.45 if I got the London Pass that includes a travel.
London Pass is your Passport to London that gives you FREE entry to over 50 Favorite Attractions as well as option for travel on public transport on buses, tubes and trains.
The London Pass not only gets you into this tourist spots but also allows you to jump the queue in often crowded tourist spots such as the Tower of London and St Paul’s Cathedral. When I was at Tower of London, I did not have to queue to get my tickets and just went through the express lanes that made me and my mates feel like VIPs.
You don’t simply just get a card but also a mini guidebook with a map that highlights all the museums and exhibitions you may enter for free with the pass. The guidebook also comes with free vouchers that entitle you to free gifts and discounts on famous food and beverages outlets.
You can get two types of London Pass with or without travel at adult or child rates. I would recommend that you get the one with travel because it comes with a Zone 1-6 Travelcard that is worth £12.40 during peak hours that you may use for unlimited travel the whole day on Buses and the Underground.
If you do get the London Pass, get the one that includes travel to enjoy extra savings since you are going to need transport anyway and my recommendation for your journey would be as below. This is the exact trail I made with my first London Pass and it might be a rush for some but well worth it for me.
Start of early and enter St Paul’s Cathedral (£9.00) at 8.30 a.m., make your way down to Tower of London (£15.00) and then The Tower Bridge Experience (£5.50) followed by the HMS Belfast (£8.50), Britain At War Experience (£9.50), wine tasting at Vinopolis (£15.00), Shakespeare’s Globe (£9.00), London Aquarium (£11.75) and end the day with a game of bowling at the Namco Station at London County Hall with £3.00 worth of token free just next to where the Aquarium is. This whole trip would have cost £86.25 just on admissions and £92.45 with a peak one day travelcard. I saved a total of £58.45 just by being smart and using a London Pass for my visits.
The whole adventure took us about 12 hours during summer weekday and we took self guided tours in each location. We recommend you to spend time at places you like most and feel free to skip some of the places above if it does not interest you. Remember to enjoy the trip and not rush. We had lunch while walking on the South Bank which saved us some time.
Please note that the prices used for individual tourist attractions in this post are adult and correct at time of this post was made as obtained from its respective official website and are all of the highest possible value and not considering off peak rates or concessions that may be available.
To make your trip a memorable one, plan ahead and check for the opening and closing times. Operating times may differ according to daylight savings. Check Transport For London's official website for details about possible suspension of certain tube lines or busses. Tube lines are often suspended during weekends for engineering works.
Other places you may also visit with your London Pass:
Well, thats all, share your experiences with me when you are done with your trip and try to beat my record at the amount of savings I made.

It has come to my attention that most people would like to start an online business but do not know how. If you are one of those, my advice is that you test out the waters first by understanding the basics and how online businesses run.
I have a great opportunity to share with you today on how to get the ball rolling on your first internet business at zero cost. Well, I am about to reveal to you a secret to easily launch your own web hosting company for free.
Please note that this is not an attempt to sell you a product as you do not even need to pay anything to join. This is a great opportunity for anyone to launch their first online project as it can be done completely free.
Today, everyone including companies and individuals are getting their businesses online. Hence, they will need a place to host their website. We have clearly identified a need and what better way to cater to their needs by offering quality web hosting services? You can do exactly that with your own web hosting business.
This web hosting business will be branded as your own and you even set your profit margin. Some of the key benefits are that you do not need to lease or rent your own server, hire staff to provide customer support and handle all the massive paperwork and agreements including licensing like I did when I started my first web hosting company. This is a golden opportunity and everyone should sign up and it involves zero risk.
More benefits include that your company will be supported 24 hours by trained technical support staff providing customer support directly to your customers. There is also phone support for pre-sales questions and automated credit card processing provided. This will save you thousands of dollars every month on hiring staff and merchant fees. It is exactly like running your own hosting company without all the hassle and you do not need to worry about customers finding about who is behind the scenes as all of this will be running anonymously.
Remember that in every business 0 inventories is the best. With this unique program, you are actually reselling a service under your own brand. It will be sold as on demand basis and when a customer signs up on your page; you earn 100% of the commission on the pricing you set. There is no commitment on this business as there are no minimum sales requirements to be achieved monthly to keep your account running.
Remember, you do not need to put any money upfront. Sounds too good to be true, well my site Hostonfire.com is exactly doing that. Here is some of the benefit worth highlighting:
Your web hosting business website will be hosted for free on USA reliable servers with your own domain for as long as you decide to keep your business running.
NO HTML KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
There are no designing or programming skills required and your professionally designed website can be up and running in less than 10 minutes with a few simple clicks.
NO DEPOSITS OR RE-OCCURING FEES
Unlike most reseller hosting provider, you are not required to place any deposits or register for a reseller’s account that involves monthly payments.
NO MINIMUM SALES
The company does not set a minimum sales quota for you to enjoy the benefits of running your hosting company for you. Your account will continue to be hosted for free if you do not make any sales.
This is indeed a risk free investment as there is no initial capital involved. There will be no contracts to sign and you may decide not to continue your business anymore and claim back your own domain name for other use.
The website is fully automated and you can earn while you sleep. The payments and customer support are all handled for you.
Once you are registered, you can configure your own hosting plans and purchase disk space and bandwidth at wholesale prices.
PROCESS MANUAL ORDERS
You may set up customer hosting accounts manually and collect payments from your own premises.
If you have programming skills, you may integrate all this into your existing website using your existing interface.

The performances by the participants were indeed amazing. The great thing was the youths were embracing culture and learning more about Penang’s rich heritage from arts. If I am not mistaken, it is a four months program and the kids still have two months to go before their big performance.
The first four videos are of performances using traditional instruments.
This last video is just some dance moves choreograph from looking at movements of hawkers and traders in Chulia Street, Penang.
How I wish I would have got involved in events such as this when I was younger. My kids will definitely be attending such sessions. Below are some of the videos from the mini showcase and the main event will be on July 15th. Please check local press for details.
In the meantime, I am still organizing pictures of my travel to be posted on this blog. Stay tune for that.

The company that sold me the package promised to deliver 10,000 visitors to my site within 60 days. A huge amount of potential buyers I would say. Just a handful of buyers would cover my initial advertising costs.
After day one of the campaign being kicked off, I checked my traffic statistics to see an increase in visitors and their reffering url’s. I can’t help but notice a domain name that was sending the majority of the traffic. Being me, I decided to check it out.
Apparently what it was is just using an Auto Surf website to display your page to others. To those who are unaware of Auto Surf websites, they are websites created to display pages after pages of websites automatically using a script. Anyone can register for an account with them and earn credits for viewing other registered users website or advertiser’s site in my case. The credits earned can are exchanged for the exposure of your site.
I was somewhat disappointed but hey, I am learning everyday. The downside to this scheme was that some people would not even bother looking at your site as their intentions are only to get traffic for their own use. However, it can be a cheap and effective way for marketers to get traffic for their sites if they have the correct targeted market.
I usually use free banner exchanges to promote my new site launches as they can be setup quickly and for free. I usually register a free banner exchange account for each of my campaigns separately because of the free bonus credits given to you upon signing up. The free credits itself can gain you major exposure and lots of potential visitors to your site. A special tip is to change your banners maybe every two months to get more clicks that turns into visitors and remember to target your market. For example, I use a UK banner exchange site for my UK websites.
That’s all from me at the moment, till next time, take care.

Well, I guess the company decided to use Porn to create an instant buzz for their clothes but they will in the end pay a heavy price in terms of image for their company. Don’t you think so? Would you feel comfortable wearing FCUK or TopShop clothes if they are associated with sexual acts? I might be wrong on this.
I am just wondering if they are actually airing the video on national TV. Not Malaysia obviously but somewhere else.
Curious on how the video looks like? All three videos are available on their website. Do a quick search for the terms “Shai Clothing and you can quickly find the mentioned site. Forget about that, I have been getting tons of hits recently about this and as an incentive to my visitors, here are the links to the videos but be warn that it may take a while to load.

The Outlook Messages File
I have just bought a new PC that I reformat to my own needs. After completing the installation, I realize that I did not back up my Outlook e-mail messages. I found several ways to back up your Outlook messages but it requires me powering up the old machine and using the export tool to export [...]

This arrangement of numbers would not happen again for another 100 years in 2106. A lifetime I would say. So, what should a person do to commemorate such an occasion or is it just not worth celebrating at all? You tell me. (I personally find it a good excuse to get drunk) Although, I believe most people will be asleep at that time, it is good for us who are awake to just vision what the world will be in the exact sequence of time and date a 100 years from that exact second.
I somehow saw Microsoft still being in existence and comfortably the market leader. Ouch…! Not a good vision is it.
Well, that’s about it really. I just believe that this something worth sharing and taking a note of.
To the next 100 years!

A Student Ambassador is someone who is in charge of representing and helping with University events. I have met some lovely people from joining this scheme and travelled to local communities and colleges to promote higher education.
The video that you are seeing is just a short clip towards the end that I have to edit due to the large file size and running time restrictions by YouTube.
That just brings back sweet memories; I am planning to start a travel photo log on this site shortly as I am gathering pictures from my CDs. I will list all major cities and tourist attractions with a little of description of those trips. This will take up some of my spare time I guess.
Well, that’s it for the moment.
Have a nice day!

Here is my small article release about the project with an accompanying video right at the end:
I, Sushi Robot
by C.L Ong (BSc(Hons) Computer-Aided Engineering)
As a final year student, I was given a challenge by my supervisor to propose a robotics project that is equivalent to the standard of a final year unit. Being the typical student that I am, I began my research on the internet where I stumbled upon a website which had a picture of a robot arm arranging eating utensils to a typical family picnic layout. That is when the idea of robots and the food industry struck my mind. I researched further and before I knew it, it has become my final year project.
Robots have long been used in the food industry for processing, handling and packaging. Besides food manufacturing, robots are also used in restaurants as a source of entertainment and to help out in the kitchen. The most common restaurants that use robots will be Japanese Sushi Bars like Yo!Sushi that use robots to prepare and even serve all types of sushi.
Besides being an additional staff, robots in restaurants also act as a source of attraction. This is proven in Pan Galactic Pizza Port which is one of the three restaurants in Japan’s Disneyland. The restaurant is built around a giant, animated pizza-making machine run by a colorful robotic alien named Tony Solaroni. During fixed intervals, the restaurant comes alive with performances by the alien robot. The performances range from the robot singing to answering phone calls. I would definitely choose to go to a place like that than the regular pizza place around the corner. It would also encourage me to go out than ring up the delivery guy.
Well, let’s return back to my project where I am using a Mitsubishi Movemaster RV-M1 robot and a conveyer system to develop a restaurant robotics system. The robot is being used to serve plates of sushi onto the conveyer and then to the customer. What I am developing is not just an automated movement of the robot arm. It is a whole restaurant system with an accompanying program that tracks order and stores it in a database.
The program that I have developed is in C-language which is fairly simple to be modified by anyone who is familiar with the programming language. This further gives the program the flexibility to be modified for different purposes or use in different types of restaurant other than a Japanese Sushi Bar.
The whole system is controlled by a regular PC connected to the robot drive unit using the serial communications port. A parallel port could have also been used because the robot drive supports either connection. The drive unit also connects the teaching pendant which is used to teach the robot a particular position and store it in the memory. The coordinates of the position is later used in the program to move the robot.
I have achieved quite a lot within a short period of time with the development of my project. This would not have been possible without the help and encouragement of many. I would like to thank them all for their support. A lot of effort has been placed on to the project and hopefully the return will be rewarding. My ultimate aim is to let it change the way we use to dine in restaurants.
If you have any interest about my project or would like further details, feel free to contact me.

I spent the weekend in Palace of The Golden Horses, KL for a Seminar on Property investment held by Renesial Leong. Renesial Leong is a well-known property investor as well as a best selling author of two books which my mum is a proud owner of both. Below is a picture of me and Renesial Leong:
We heard about this seminar from the newspaper The Star and agreed on attending it after my mother persuaded me to do so. The seminar was for two days with an international buffet dinner a night before and I am glad I attended it. Now I intend to get my first residential property within 6 months.
I have never attended a proper seminar although it was always something I wanted to do. I would have never guessed that my first will be about Property Investment. I am used to be the youngest on attending events or occasions such as this but this time as I am growing older, I was glad to be joined by like minded people and no one brought up the matter of being too young.
I now have a firm believe that property investment is definitely a wise investment vehicle that is safe and should be considered by anyone who wants to generate another source of income.
The hotel on the other hand might be given the 6-star rating but the service was not up to my expectations especially if the room rates were at minimum RM 600/night. I am still wondering which authority gives the ratings and how often do they do spot checks or surprise visits to audit it.
For starters, the waiters were not well trained unprepared to handle us or even other guests. During the two buffet lunches that we had along the course, signs indicating what food was being served were not present and when waiters were asked, they could not confirm what they were. It took ages for the waiter to server us drinks and even clear the table. Does this happen often or just because no VVIPs were present like the ones shown in the pictures decorating their lobby corridors? Whatever the answer might be, at the end of the day, we are in a way or another still a paying customer that deserves the services we expected. If you are a person in charge of the standards of the hotel, feel free to contact me and I will give you my feedback in terms of service provided.
The interior, exterior and surroundings of the hotel was no doubt good but the important things like service that matters a lot can be improved.
To those who attended the event and consulted me on web development services and have intentions to start your own website or take advantage of the free web hosting business offer, please feel free to go to my company website at http://www.velocityspark.net or just drop me an e-mail.
That’s all for the moment, till next time…..
